This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal data when you visit our website, use our platform, or interact with our services — including our Chrome extension and public profile pages. It applies to all users, customers, and visitors of Deep Enrich.

We comply as a baseline across our business with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), in recognition of the high standards of rights it affords — regardless of where you are located. This policy covers two distinct categories of individuals: (1) users who create accounts and use our platform, and (2) individuals whose professional information appears in our contact database (people who have not directly interacted with Deep Enrich). Different sections of this policy apply to each group — please refer to the relevant sections for your situation.
This Privacy Policy applies to any visitor to our site, any user of our services, or any Professional Individual whose information is held in our database. We use the following terms throughout this policy:
‘User’ means you, if you are a person acting in a business capacity who has created an account with us for the purpose of using our services. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, store, process, and use personal information of our Users.
‘Professional Individual’ means you, if you are an individual about whom we have collected information (including some personal data) from various publicly available sources on the web, in order to index that information in our database and make your publicly available contact information accessible to our Users. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, store, process, and use personal data of Professional Individuals. If you are a Professional Individual and you have become aware that we hold a profile of you, you may request to access, correct, delete, or opt out of our processing of your personal data — please visit our profile removal page or see the Your Rights section below.
‘Site Visitor’ means you, if you are not a registered User but are accessing or otherwise making use of our services or website. If you are a Professional Individual visiting our site (for example, to view your own profile or our data removal page), the provisions of this policy related to Professional Individuals also apply to you in that context.
We collect information in several ways, described below.
When you create an account or register, we collect personal details such as your name, email address, phone number, billing address, username, and password, and any profile information you enter. If you make purchases, we collect payment information, which is processed securely by our payment provider (Razorpay).
If you sign in via a social network (for example, Google), we may collect your name, email, profile picture, and other information you allow from that account.
We automatically collect technical and usage data when you use our services. This may include your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, referral URLs, the pages you visit, your interactions (clicks, inputs), and the dates and times of your use.

In addition to data provided by our users, we collect professional information about business professionals from publicly available sources, including professional networking sites and public business directories. This information may include:
We do not collect or display: personal photographs, precise home addresses, family status or personal life details, private email addresses, or any data classified as special category data under GDPR (Article 9).
We collect this data to power our B2B contact enrichment service, enabling business professionals to identify and contact relevant professional contacts for legitimate business purposes.

We collect professional profile data from publicly available sources including, but not limited to, public professional networking profiles, public company websites and directories, and publicly accessible business data sources. We do not purchase data from data brokers or collect data from private or non-public sources.
We do not market to Professional Individuals in any way. If you are a Professional Individual, we will only contact you if required to do so by law or regulation, or to respond to a communication you have sent to us. If you are receiving communications from our Users or other third parties who have sourced your information through our services, the sender of those communications is solely responsible for compliance with applicable direct marketing laws.
If your professional information is included in our database, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of that data at any time — no reason required. To exercise these rights, visit our profile removal page or email support@deepenrich.com. We will process all valid requests within 7 working days.
The Deep Enrich Chrome extension is available at the Chrome Web Store. This section describes what data the extension collects and how it is used.
The extension collects data only after you have affirmatively accepted the consent notice shown inside the extension. Until you accept, it does not read or transmit profile data. You can withdraw that consent at any time in the extension settings, after which collection stops.
Once enabled, when you open a professional profile page the extension reads the professional information shown on that page in order to provide contact enrichment. This may include name, headline, location, industry, employment history, education, skills, and — where they are available — professional contact details such as an email address or phone number. It also records the related profiles and companies that the platform displays alongside that page.
All such information is treated as third-party professional data and is handled as described in the Data We Collect About Third-Party Professionals section, including the right of any individual to request removal at any time.
The extension can also identify the organisation associated with a website you are viewing. For this feature the extension reads only the domain or hostname of the active tab (for example, “example.com”) — not page content, form inputs, files, or anything you type on the page. The domain is sent to our servers solely to return a matching organisation profile.
This feature is designed not to operate on categories of website we treat as sensitive, including financial and banking sites, healthcare and medical sites, webmail providers, government and military sites, consumer social media platforms, developer and code-hosting platforms, pages accessed by raw IP address, and any site not served over HTTPS. We may update these exclusions from time to time.
Data collected by the extension is used to provide contact enrichment to you and is added to our contact database, from which it may be made available to other Deep Enrich users. It is retained in accordance with the Data Retention section, and any individual may request its removal at any time via our profile removal page.
We do not sell or share extension-collected data with third parties for advertising purposes, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
The lawful basis for processing your own account and usage data in connection with the extension is Performance of contract. The lawful basis for processing the professional data described above is Legitimate interests, as set out in the third-party professional data section.
We use the personal data of our registered users for the following purposes:
We process your data to set up and manage your account, deliver the services you request, authenticate your access, and fulfil orders or transactions.

Deep Enrich maintains a database of professional profiles sourced from publicly available professional information. We respect every individual’s right to control their professional data.
If your profile appears on Deep Enrich and you wish to have it removed, you may visit our profile removal page and submit a removal request by verifying your email address. Once requested:
You do not need to provide a reason for your removal request. If you wish to have your profile hosted with your consent and gain access to explore Deep Enrich, you may choose that option during the removal process.
If you no longer have access to the email address associated with your profile, please contact us directly at support@deepenrich.com with your name and LinkedIn profile URL and we will process your request manually.
Following the deletion of your profile, we may retain your email address on an internal opt-out list for the sole purpose of ensuring your data is not re-collected and re-added to our database in future crawling cycles. This email address will only be used for this limited purpose and will not be used for any marketing or other communication.
Removing your personal information from Deep Enrich will not necessarily result in the removal of that information from the original source where it was publicly available (for example, LinkedIn or other professional directories that are not operated by us). We are only responsible for removing personal information that is within our control or possession. If you wish to have information removed from a third-party source, you will need to contact that platform directly.
Our services are not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we learn that information of a person under 18 has been collected, we will delete it promptly. By using our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
If you believe we have inadvertently collected data about a minor, please contact us immediately at support@deepenrich.com.
Our website may contain links to third-party sites or applications (for example, to install browser extensions or view profiles on other platforms). We do not control the privacy practices of these sites. This Privacy Policy does not apply to them. We encourage you to read their privacy policies before providing personal information.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date above. If changes are significant, we will notify you via email or with an on-site notice before they take effect.
